DCA Summit Summary 2022

Executive Leaders from companies including Augeo, NBA, VantageScore, TransUnion, Pipl, Triple, Solidus Labs, and Harness FI explored the theme of harnessing the disruption at the DCA Summit – our second hybrid conference of the year. Leading card issuers, financial institutions, retailers, card-linked technology companies, and digital marketing technology innovators came together at the DCA Summit to share key industry insights. Top companies in attendance included Microsoft, Sam’s Club, Bank of America, Discover, Mastercard, Rakuten, and many more.

At the DCA Summit, industry leaders discussed the theme of harnessing the disruption and how to succeed at digital commerce in a recession economy. Conference Summary

Dan Currell, CEO of the Digital Commerce Alliance, kicked off the event setting the stage on what is to come in digital commerce in 2023.

Silvio Tavares, President & CEO of VantageScore, was our first speaker and shared his insights on repositioning to succeed in a recession economy and a look at the most recent consumer data.

Vincent Karim Sarafa, Chief Strategy Officer at Augeo, and Andy Wasef, Strategy & Business Innovation Lead, Next Gen at the NBA, presented on building brand fans and how to activate consumers through personalization, disruptive technology & community.

Briana Cohen, VP of Strategy, Card & Banking at TransUnion, and Susan Tyburski, Chief Revenue Officer at Pipl, spoke about personas vs. identities and charting the future for card issuers, banks & retailers.

Our next speaker, Steve VanFleet, Co-Founder and Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Triple, shared his insights on five forces shaping the next five years and mapping risks and opportunities in an open offers ecosystem.

Next we heard from Kathy Kraninger, Former Director of the CFPB and VP of Regulatory Affairs at Solidus Labs, who sat down for a fireside chat with Dan Currell to discuss innovation and regulation in digital commerce and her thoughts on the crypto risk moment.

Lastly, Amarildo Gjondrekaj, Head of Harness FI, presented on asymmetric partnerships and when birds and rhinos collaborate.
