Hosted by MasterCard
Mastercard NYC Tech Hub, 150 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10011
We’re excited about DCA’s Summit on November 8th! Here are a few things we expect:
A terrific venue. Mastercard’s NYC Tech Hub is spanking new and perfect for the kind of intimate gathering we’re looking for at a DCA Summit. It’s cool, designed for true conversations (as opposed to huge conferences), and has a demonstration room that gives visitors a glimpse of some of the technology Mastercard is developing for digital commerce. We’re planning group experiences as part of the conference.
A cool location. The Tech Hub is in the Flatiron neighborhood on 5th Avenue, about halfway between Union Square Park and Madison Square Park. We’ll take advantage of this cool neighborhood with groups (official and spontaneous) having dinner and/or drinks before the event and, of course, afterwards.
A pressing topic – “Innovating to Elevate Consumer Engagement in 2024.” DCA Summit sessions are designed to be honest exchanges between members about the things that are having the biggest impact on their businesses. That can change up to the moment the Summit starts, but here’s what we expect in general:
- AI. DCA members will all share what they’ve tried, what they have learned, and still need to learn, about how generative AI can drive their businesses.
- Improving Offers. We’ll unpack DCA members’ continued efforts to make digital offers easy to find, easy to claim and easy to redeem – part of our friction initiative.
- Rules, Risks & Profits. We’re not a bunch of lawyers, but some rules hugely impact business profitability – so we’ll sort through how DCA members expect to sustain effective, profitable businesses in light of what the CFPB and other rule-makers are doing.
- Data Exchange. Continuing an initiative to assess how DCA member companies can thrive in a post-cookie world, we’ll dig into new methods of data exchange – clean rooms, open banking, APIs, and more established methods for managing the data flows that are the lifeblood of the digital commerce ecosystem.
